pDoes anyone out there use Liptons Recipe Secrets Golden Onion Soup Mix?? I wanted to use it in a recipe I have, but wasnt sure if I should? The consumer rep was so rude! I asked if the product contained peanut or egg, since my son is allergic to both....she said that if its not listed then its not in the product....then i asked about cross contamination...ie anything with peanuts made on the same line??? She said they clean their lines, but had NO WAY of knowing if the product was on a shared line...(thanks...) and dont use the product.... BUT, she did tell me that they are VERY aware of food allergy.... so I asked if they were SO aware, why didnt they label for cross contamination? she asked me the UPC #..(thought I was getting somewhere...) and she said how much did you pay for the product?....I told her 1.07....SHe said that i would get a refund in the mail.....and rudely said GOODBYE!br /
.........sorry...had to vent!.....I wonder how she would feel if it was her kid!?/p

I get that feeling a lot! People could care less since it's not their kid! If it were there could though, the world would stop turning till the got the answers they needed! I would call back and request to speak with a supervisor and tell him how rude she was! Did you get her name? That's one thing I do EVERYTIME, get a name right off the bat! I find too they are more likely to give correct info when they know that you have their name and can come back at them later on with it if they are wrong. Doesn't always work, but sometimes it does!
Sorry you were treated like this, I am angry right there with you!!!
