i agree with Jenna. i have read on this thread that several of us have writen to Rosie on her blog and I don't see them posted there. It looks like she posts what she feels like. ABC might be a better choice

You say that compassion is the best thing you can instill in your kids? Does that include compassion towards peanut allergic kids?

i take that to mean that she thinks "amy" is overreacting and/or hysterical and that she should lighten up. i could be wrong...but that's what the comment sounds like to me. very flippant, like "geez, take a deep breath. it's not a big deal."
i would imagine the comment also included the dreaded "eyeroll" we are all so accustomed to at times.
i had hoped rosie would come through...looks like i may have been wrong. darn.

I had hoped Rosie would come through also...
I'm starting to feel she absolutely won't...
I already feel so let down by Rosie- I'm starting to think the rosie on the view is going to be quite different from the Rosie on her show- very disapointing for me...
Let's write ABC

I know I shouldn't feel annoyed at Rosie...
But I do.
And my 2nd email to her explained that (in 200 characters or less...)
Sigh

Ditto... wrote to Rosie and ABC's "Viewmaster".
I'd love to send flowers to poor Elizabeth. I imagine she's miserable these days. I can't even watch the show anymore, O'Donnell bugs me to no end. Meredith Viera holds similar political views as Rosie O'Donnell and yet I find Viera warm and charming while O'Donnell just grates on me and seems like a know-it-all, disrespectful twit. If Rosie really wanted to not be a jerk, in her reply she would have been gracious and at least would have explained her comment, if not apologize.

I don't think it matters who we write to. I was listening to the radio the other day and they were talking about all the controversy Rosie is causing. Then the one guy says "Yes, but did you see ratings for The View are up 58%, so apparently it is working."
So I don't think ABC is going to care that we are upset if their ratings are going up. I think we are better off if we just stop giving her the attention, and stop watching.

I have also written to Rosie , and I don't know if you guys know this but Elizabeth has food allergies.. I wrote to her last year when after watching a show saw her ask what was in something they were barbecuing on the roof, sorry can't remember off hand what the foods were and I asked if a segment would be done on food allergies...still waiting for a reply..Kathy Ann

If Elizabeth has food allergies, it makes what happened during that segment even more pathetic. The fact that an individual with FA's responded so meekly, when an opportunity presented itself for a quick, easy and pointed message about the seriousness of FA's, really makes me disgusted with the whole lot of them.
Maybe a boycott of ABC, their shows, their advertising accounts -- you know -- their money, would be more effective. Problem is, if the community of individuals that contacts them is a small percentage, or demographic, I doubt they will care.
