I'm home today and tried to watch it to see if it was addressed, and don't you know the show was pre-empted by a presidential press conference!
I'm eager to see if it was addressed at all.

It wasn't addressed on the show today. But I am still holding out hope that it will come up in the future because they were reading mail that addressed issues from the show that were about a week old. They're probably that far behind in reading their email.

Argh President Bush!
I'm glad others were able to see it all the way through and I have some hope that their might be a reply...
I posted a question at www.rosie.com under the "Ask Ro" section - we'll see if she responds seriously.

I emailed her a letter at the View website...not sure it will do any good, but it made me feel better to try to educate her a bit.

I didn't see the show yesterday but read what was said on here. I've been very excited to see Rosie back on TV (although i've only seen 1/2 an episode) and thought of her comment, "well, at least it's Rosie. Given a little education on PA, I think she would apologize, put an expert on, and educate others as well." She does seem to be a wonderful advocate for children. So I sent her an email....and then I went to her blog. OMG--it's a little strange...I hope she doesn't disappoint. I am really hoping she will be the public voice to help educate for PA once she reads our emails and researches a bit??!!

I've always found her tiresome and I think she's overwhelming the other women on the show... it seems like she's constantly yapping on there now. So maybe that made me a little more ticked off at her comment than I normally would be. Still, I wrote her a letter on the email link. I'll be curious to know if they address this in a later show.

I saw Rosie's comment on the View and I thought it was very insensitive for her to say something like that.
She is somebody that should use her celebrity status to inform and educate people - instead she is obviously yet another person who just dosen't "get" it and I am planning on e-mailing the View also and hopefully with this flood of e-mails they are getting from all of us, maybe they will take a moment on-air to try to educate the public on this serious and life-threatening condition.
Oh, and you know that if it were one of Rosie's children who had a severe peanut allergy, she would be doing public-awareness already.
