Hi Marina,
You could contact Dare at dmitchell@darefoods.com ... I am sure they could tell you which stores in the USA carry their cookies and crackers

Yes Codyman.. Dare does make the maple cream cookies.. hopefully the peanut-free ones will arrive in your area soon (it says 'made in a nut-free/peanut-free facility' on the side of the bag)

Mr. Christie's has a maple leaf cream filled cookie as well. I am not sure about it being PA safe or not. I'm also looking forward to the "safe" Dare ones hitting my store (as I said, the other day I had to be really careful because there were both "unsafe" and "safe" Dare cookies on sale - for example the kids wanted Fudge cookies and they weren't safe. We just got regular chocolate. I do believe it's a transitional thing and maybe even why the store had them on sale, I don't know).
The trouble with me and the maple leaf cream cookies is well, I'll eat the whole bag. At least I was only guilty of eating four of the cookies out of the bag that was demolished here yesterday. But with the maple leaf cream ones, I'd eat the whole bag. Absolutely love them.
Speaking of maple and love thereof, does anyone know if there is a "safe" maple ice cream without the walnuts? That was my favourite ice cream. My Dad's as well. Maple walnut.
I can't eat a lot of ice cream these days anyway, which is probably a good thing, but I would love some maple. Of course, the alternative is to buy safe Chapman's vanilla and pour maple syrup on top of it.
Dinner must not have filled me up very well. I'll be frying perogies by the time Law & Order Special Victims Unit comes on.
Best wishes!

Hi Cindy,
Yes, the Mr. Christie maple leaf creme cookie has no nut/peanut warnings. But Dare is better, as it is actually a nut-free/peanut-free facility and labelled as such
I do that too.. plain vanilla ice cream with a maple syrup topping... really good!

Cindy
Have you tried the Chapman's "Maple Sugar Twist" ice cream? It is one of the flavours in the 2-L safe boxes. Just read about some more new safe products on their web site, will add to the Chapman's thread.

hannah mom, that will do it, thank-you very much! I just read the Chapman's thread as well and those Cappuccino bars, well, they sound heavenly.
So, I'll be sitting here eating maple ice cream, the drumstick like cones from Chapman's, maple cookies, and any other Dare cookie I should happen to purchase for the kids now, and well, you can see where I'm going with this.
This is just fabulous though!
What I have noticed with my closest grocery store though, A&P Ultraplus (I was thrilled that they had the Chapman's drumstick-like product in finally) is that they're still really heavily stocking our local dairy's ice cream.
Actually, considering the size of the store and the fact that it's our only 24 hour grocery store here, they have a pretty small ice cream section. I wonder why. Hmmm.....
I'll see if they have the maple Chapman's there though. That will be heavenly.
Best wishes!
