pI am SO angry with myself If I had read my copy of the Benadryl newsletter Breathing Easy, which you can subscribe to by going to their website at www.breathing-easy.com I would have been able to post this information a heckuva lot sooner./p
p"br /
Concert for Anaphylactic Kids/p
pEvery year, kids across Canada experience the potentially life-threatening reaction we call anaphylactic shock, usually the result of an insect or food allergy. That's why Warner-Lambert Consumer Healthcare, a division of Pfizer Canada Inc., makers of Benadryl and Reactine are proud to be the lead sponsors of the Concert for Anaphylactic Kids, May 27, 2001, at the Toronto Centre for the Arts, formerly Ford Centre for the Performing Arts. Child entertainer Fred Penner (of TV's 'Fred Penner's Place') will be helping raise funds and awareness for anaphylactic kids, while representatives from Benadryl and Reactine will be on hand to answer questions about allergies and hand out kids' activity booklets./p
pSo, if you're in Toronto this May, and interested in attending you can purchase tickets through the Ticketmaster Box Office in your local area or call (416) 870-8000, you can also log on to www.ticketmaster.ca Tickets can also be purchased directly at the Toronto Centre for the Arts Box Office. There is limited seating available, so get your tickets early! "/p
pAgain, I am SO sorry, but hopefully there are still tickets available for anyone that lives in Toronto or close to it that would be interested in attending. I know I would be if I was there./p
pBest wishes! /p

Thank you for posting this information, Cindy.
I would just add that the funds raised are to go to the Anaphylaxis Network of Canada, the Anaphylaxis Foundation of Canada and the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
There is a long list of corporate (and small business) partners on the AN of C website www.anaphylaxis.org - click on Children's Concert 2001.
It sounds like a great event.

JoannaG., thank-you for posting the additional information you did re this concert. As you can see from the time I posted, in the wee hours of the morning, I had just come across the item in the newsletter and I wanted to get it posted straight away so I wasn't able to check out to see if it had been publicized elsewhere.
Thank-you SO much. I know I would love to be attending.
This is the first time I've ever heard of anything of this nature and so I actually find it really positive. It would be great if someone did go, if we could get a review.
Many thanks again, and best wishes!
