Hi,

I was at the Nestle USA site (http://www.nestleusa.com) and it was stated that Nestle Canada now distributes "COFFEE CRISP" in the USA. Coffee Crisp is a delicious chocolate bar made by Nestle Canada in a peanut/nut-free factory.

The information is as follows:

My son with peanut allergies can't have coffee crisp because he's also wheat allergic (among other things), but my DH and I love them. There are 3 places locally where we've been able to find them.

This is grim news indeed. How am I ever going to maintain my image as a somewhat disciplined person if Coffee Crisps are available on demand? I can feel myself coming undone already...

This is great news. This is exactly what we have been telling Nestle last year when they wanted to add nuts to thier facility...that they're missing out on the entire US market and that they should export the chocolates down there if possible (under licencing agreements). Maybe they'll start exporting the other bars too like Aero, Kit Kat, Smarties!

Here is a web site about Coffee Crisp in the USA:
www.coffeecrisp.org
It lists stores in the USA where Coffee Crisps have been sighted (ie: Hudson Newsstand in New York City, etc).
If your local store does not carry Coffee Crisp, you should ask them to order it. It is delicious and made in a peanut/nut-free factory.
