Has anyone know what the "artificial flavor" is? Not sure about the labelling practices of the company. (PA/NUTS)

They are made by the Tootsie company. When I contacted them in August, they claim all their products are peanut & nut free. My PA son has never tried Cella Cherries yet, but has had other Tootsie products with no problems.
I hope this helps.
B's Mom: Thank you.
and thanking in advance any further responses.
I have also contacted Tootsie company and been assured there are no PN/nuts in any of their products. Have not tried the cherries, though, but lots of other products without troubles(Junior Mints, tootsie pops and roll of all sizes, Andes mints, Dots candy). becca
Tootsie Roll has candy with cherries?
***where can I find them***
They are pretty standard fare at almost every corner deli (OK Cindy, bodega) in NYC. Contact me off board, and I'll gladly send you some. I actually saw a huge box at BJ's yesterday, but didn't buy them because Kevin doesn't like cherry anything. And guess who would have ended up eating them?

Are they chocolate covered? Can't quite figure out what Tootsie Roll would do with cherries, as I don't remember them having any chocolate candies.
Yes, they are milk chocolate covered. Very, very yummy.
Let me know.

OK MommaBear, you got me. Maybe I'm just really, really tired, but could you explain the movie soundtrack reference?

Just trying to figure out if DarthVader says "bodega" or "deli". Maybe it's just me. I could be wrong. (tapping side of head) Still have this mental image of him Standing in Times Square flanked by stormtroopers calling out: "My death star for a decent deli (bodega)!!!!!" Ya think he likes crusts?
