Raising because this has alot of talk and calls to Blueberry Hill Foods. I have seen their spice drops candy(red and green gumdrops) in stores already). They are at Super Stop and Shop around here. I am going to trust them, as I was told the company makes no nut products when I called on the candy corn. I specifically asked about all stuff then, thinking forward, as they make all kinds of hard and soft sugar type candy. Becca
I called Blueberry Hills this afternoon. I was told by the woman (girl?) who answered that the candy corn was produced in a peanut-free & nut-free building. However, that was the only candy she was sure of. She took my e-mail address and will have someone send me a message listing all their candies that are produced in a peanut-free and nut-free building. When I receive the e-mail, I'll post the info.
I went hunting around for threads on Candy Corn...
Ann bought a bag of Brachs recently, and the warning on it stated peanuts, brazil nuts, and/or something else...
We decided against giving one to Caitlin, because she doesn't NEED it, and it sounded too risky for comfy zone (do you believe it??)
But there a candy corn that isnt x-contam'ed with nuts/peanuts and does NOT contain egg?
Halloween is coming!

I just got a flyer in the mail from Vermont Nut Free Chocolates, and they have Candy Corn this year! Yay! It's kind of pricey, but I've been without Candy Corn since we've been with this allergy - I'm ordering it!
You'd have to call & ask about the egg question, we are only PA, so I'm not up on the egg situation on anyone.

My heart actually sank when I got their flier last week - I was so sad that they would add egg. I meant to contact them to ask to be removed from their mailing list since we can't have the chocolate due to milk allergy but haven't got around to it.
I had high hopes that they would try to make it safe for more than just nut allergies.

We found a candy corn blend (with the corn, pumpkin and other shapes) that is nut free at our local Dollar General store. I am not sure of the brand.
Christi - It is probably sunrise. We found them at Dollar Tree.
I found Jelly Belly candy corn at TJMaxx, they are peanut free. My sn was soo excited to eat them since he hasn't had them since Vermont Nut Free stopped making them
