Anyone ever make homemade buttermints? Not the creamy kind but the ones that are hard and then melt in your mouth. I already tried a recipe with cream cheese and they are tasty but never hardened. I've read somewhere they might be called "pulled" mints. Can anyone help?

not much immediate help --- but a friend of mine made some of these and I recall she got the recipe from either marthastewart.com or epicurious.com
they were hard and just like the ones you get in a fancy restaurant.
