Burger King

I don't know when it started but as of 1/1/01 they are serving Reeces Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake. I think cheesecake is just fine without the poison. I used to like going there as if my boycott will make a difference. Only to one person and that is my son! Gennie

Ok, please don't get mad for what I'm about to say. I have a pet peave about this whole peanut allergy thing. My son is allergic to peanuts, milk, and eggs. I've seen him have reactions to milk and egg only, never peanut (thank God)! However, I read many posts about people wanting restaurants to stop serving peanuts. This is fine, and I can completely understand why. It's just that those cheesecakes can still cause a anaphalactic reaction in my son because of the milk. (He was about 10 seconds away from getting a shot a few months ago after he had a little bite of milk.) Like I said, I don't want to cause an argument, I just want to make the point that we can't remove everything that is dangerous to our children. The best we can do is watch over them and try to keep them safe.

You know we don't go to Burger king anymore. I have witnessed them not cleaning the counters when that are through mixing a shake. And about the reese pie, What if one of the employees eat some and don't clean up afterwards? my son has already had one reactions because a child did not get cleaned up after eating a reese cup. It sent my child to the doctor and put on predinsone for 4 days. UGH! I have chosen to eat at only the mcdonalds and wendys i know. Tina
