Has anyone been there and know anything about their icecream?

We have been there with DD (PA only) for take-out ice cream. We all get the soft-serve ice cream in cups. This is within my comfort zone because it is a dedicated machine that takes the ingredients directly from the package. No nut flavors are offered and no scoop is used.
However, I did call on a Saturday to ask about the food in the dining room and a very rude man in the kitchen told me he didn't have time to check what kind of oil they use in the fryer. After explaining about her allergy all I got was "it's vegetable oil and I don't have time to read the label". Needless to say that could mean "peanut oil" and we will not eat the food there.

I honestly don't know about soy, DD is only PA. If you go when they are not busy they should show you the label.

My husband and I used to go before having kids and when he ordered a soft serve vanilla, a big dollop of coffee soft serve was at the bottom of his cup.
(He hates coffee)
This has made me stay away from the Bubbling Brook or any other ice cream shop. At the time they also served a pistachio soft serve as a special.
We haven't been there in years but I would double check on the pistachio before ordering.

We used to go there all the time as kids. They have so many flavors (even for soft serve) but I would think that they had a dedicate machine for vanilla softserve.
I just drove by there the other day and was thinking that I probably wouldn't let my PA son eat there. Just too risky with the number of flavors they offer.
