For those of you that have followed our story on the struggles we've had with Brandon's school and school district, here's the story that our local paper, The Voice, wrote. There will also be one to come in The Detroit News; just not sure when!

Chippewa struggles with student's severe peanut allergy

One peanut could mean the end of life for a Cheyenne Elementary student from Macomb Township.

Tracy Gagnon of Macomb Township said her son Brandon, a 6-year-old first grade student at Cheyenne Elementary, could die from his severe allergic reaction to peanuts. Gagnon said she fears for his safety at school, and she thinks the school is not doing enough to ensure his safety.
"At the age of 2, we discovered Brandon had a severe allergy to peanuts. He had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich set in front of him and immediately his eyes started to itch. He picked up the sandwich for a brief moment and set it right back down because his eyes itched him so terribly. With no visible traces of peanut butter on his hands, he rubbed his eyes and they swelled completely shut,

She stated that they provide a monitor at lunchtime? If I remember your other topics correctly, they haven't provided one for you - you and the other parent have been trading out turns, right?
Maybe it will get you somewhere if they know you are not willing to keep it quietly. Did you contact the media or did they come to you?
