Does anyone know of any good booklets that are a fast and easy read that I can give to relatives and friends so they understand this is serious? Thanks! Shan

Check out the Food Allergy Network. They have a "flashback" series of booklets. I don't have the peanut allergy one handy, but I remember it was good.
You can find them at The booklet isn't available online; you have to order it from them.

Shan, I have found that magazine articles or newspaper articles have helped to educate our close friends and family. When they see "it" in print it really helps.
Laura, who posts on this board, was just featured in the Child Magazine April 1999. It is on the newstands now! Also,Sully's Living Without Magazine, Spring 1998, premiere issue had a great peanut allergy article in it. Maybe you could call them and see if they can send you a copy 1-630-415-3378.
Also the video from FAN "It Only Takes One Bite" is very informative and gets the attention of viewers!
