I was taking this natural fiber colon cleanse supplement which I've had before with no problem. But anyways, I was taking it for 1 1/2 weeks, & the last 2 days that i was taking it, I noticed that I felt burning, cramping right under my rib cage. I did have diarreah, granted it's fiber, so I'm sure that had something to do with that. What made me uncomfortable was the last day, I felt really nauseated & tired with that burning cramping feeling in my intestines i guess....

I checked the label of one of the products & it has black walnut hulls as the first ingredient.

Could that be a GI reaction or is it just because it's fiber. I"ve stopped taking it. I also had another post about swollen glands on Wed. The last day I took the fiber was on Mon. or Tues. So maybe that's why that happened.

Thanks,
Kimmo

I suspect that I'm allergic to both PN & TN. I've been RAST tested & SPT, both of which were negative. Though I've been told to stay away from both.

This could be a reaction, but you may also want to be checked for other medical problems also. Gallbladder problems can also cause the symptoms you described. Although many people feel gallbladder pain in different places, mine was always on the right side, right under my ribs. All the symptoms you described were present, and although I have them now with my PA - the ones I had with my gallbladder lasted longer and were more painful.
