M's Mom, Katiee had asked me if I could contact you via e-mail on her behalf re the Nestle "issue". However, I see that your e-mail is not listed. If you do read this, could you either please contact Katiee or I?

Just bumping this thread back up since Nestle has reversed its decision and made Smarties "safe" again! What a victory!
Cayley's Mom, thank-you! I would still love to be the co-ordinator of this if it's okay. Now, I just have to stop crying and I'll come back and make a list of who wanted Smarties!
I'm not sure how long it will take me to stop crying, though. I'm a complete wreck, although a very happy one!
Best wishes!

Hi everyone.
Great news about Nestle's reversal! I went straight out and bought some and we are celebrating.
Cindy, thank you, if you are going to carry on coordinating, that would be great; I'm Canadian and would like to be matched with someone wanting Smarties. Thanks!
Okay, I just went through the whole thread, and really before I can get anything significant going (although I believe I can do one "official pairing to-day), I have to get some questions answered because a lot of people took to pairing themselves or posting that they were buying Smarties themselves.
If it would be okay, since the thread has run smoothly since time began, except for any difficulties between the two people that were "officially paired" that I either did or did not hear about, what it be okay if I kept co-ordinating it? Otherwise it is simply terribly mind boggling and gets out of control. That's the reason I began to co-ordinate the Smarties thing in the first place. I was not the originator of this idea. It had begun to happen in another thread and I recognized that it could use a co-ordinator, hence me. So please, if you would like to pair yourself with someone on your own, please don't post in here - simply get their e-mail address and keep it off the board (if I may be so bold as to say that), or if you're going to buy a case, I don't really need to know about it in this thread (if I may be so bold as to say that). Otherwise, if you look at the following, it's become a damned confused mess that I have to try to wade through and I think it's kinda unfair for people that have simply posted they would like some Smarties and those who simply posted they would like to send some.
Now, for sanity purposes only, I am going to post each question I have separately, in a separate post, so that each and every confusing question I have is totally clear and well, separate.
Best wishes!

Cheryl (Canadian), you had mentioned that you had been "officially paired" with someone. It turned out to be Jodi. Did you ever hear from her or are you a Canadian that I can add to the list as being able to send Smarties to someone else on the list?
Many thanks and best wishes!
------------------
Frances, did you end up buying a case Smarties on your own or with, I believe barbsch (or was it adjoz 6)? Or, did you still want to remain on the list?
barbsch or adjoz 6, could you please let me know if it was one of you that was going to purchase the case of Smarties with Frances and if you did so if you still want to remain on the list?
Many thanks and best wishes!
------------------
Okay, aside from a few questions that I need clarification about, I am going to assume that all of the Americans who posted still want Smarties, whether they ended up buying a case elsewhere, etc. If it turns out that they don't require Smarties anymore, I will be able to cross them off the list as soon as I find out. Otherwise, here is the list:-
- J. Roberts
- Frances
- Diane (for Steven)
- Head Cook
- adjoz 6
- barbsch
- M's Mom
- Carol (information available through me).
At this point, until I can clarify with Cheryl, I have ONE Canadian who is willing to send Smarties. That would be Joanna G.
Therefore, Joanna G., you are "officially paired" with J. Roberts. I am quite confident that her e-mail is posted in her profile, but if not, please contact me. I will now go and e-mail both of you that you have been "officially paired".
Many thanks and best wishes! Is it ever wonderful, despite the little kinks going on here to have this thread going again!

Hitch already - Joanna G., your e-mail address is not listed so I cannot contact you to let you know that you have been "officially paired" with J. Roberts. Could you please contact me via e-mail? The reason I'm asking you to contact me is so that I know you know you've been paired with J. Roberts. You can, of course, also contact her. I will do so now.
Many thanks and best wishes!
