My son (3rd grade)is severely PA/TNA. At school yesterday, one of the lunch ladies handed out chocolates w/peanuts. She did not give one to my son, but everyone else had one. THAT is not the problem. The problem is that anything the cafeteria hands out is supposed to be nut free. So did this same lunch lady hand my son his lunch? What else do they have that contains nuts? Obviously they have never heard of cross-contamination. Obviously they are not even aware that they are supposed to have a nut free cafeteria.
UUUUGGGHHHH! I am so angry!
I emailed the principal (right after I went to the school to check on him myself.....she was not available at the time)and still have not heard back. Any suggestions?
thanks.
Am I overreacting?
