If you, or a loved one, has ever suffered an allergic reaction to either a prescription or OTC counter medication [b]due to the presence of one of the Top 8 food allergens[/b], please do one of the following:

1) Please post your story here, or

Please include some type of contact information so that we have the ability to follow-up w/you if needed.

Nutternomore, I don't have a story to contribute but checked out the title because my daughter developed an allergy to amoxicillin last winter.
I think this is a GREAT thread. I wanted you to know that.

Dear Nutternomore,
This is a great idea for discussion. I developed an allergy to Enalapril, an ace inhibitor drug (that I had been taking for high blood pressure) at the same time I discovered I was PA/TNA/SSA. I think the events are connected but I don't understand the dynamics. Any ideas?

Interesting, but I don't think related to your food allergies.
Looks like the manufacturer has a documented warning about possible anaphylactoid episodes in some patients:
