Hi everyone!!.. My family will
Be going in vacation in 1 week to the Bahamas.. I'm very nervous since we will be flying and my 4 1/2 year old son is allergic to peanuts. We've notified the airline (Delta) and they said all they can do is let the flight crew know a head of time and not serve anything with peanuts or peanut products but cannot stop people from bringing it on board.. Anyway.. Has anyone flown delta and everything go smoothly?!.. Also I've heard you need an epi pen for every 20 minutes you're in the air.. I was planning on bringing all his up to date shots... And has anyone with a peanut allergy or a child with one gone to the Bahamas and was it easy to find places to accommodate the allergy? We will not be staying at a resort or anything like that we have family down there so we will
Be staying with them.. So we will be going around the town with them but I was hoping to find out before hand on where to go while were out that he can eat. If worst comes to worst I'll be packing his lunch everyday! Thanks!!!
