I was shocked when flying Delta airlines that they are the only airline that still serves peanut packets as a snack.
Yes that means about 200 open packets on any given flight. The flight attendant said they made an emergency landing the week before after a child had contact with a toilet door and reacted.
i told the pilot that his cabin was not safe regards the peanut and he was so ignorant and said 'don't eat em then"
I urge you all to write to Delta and boycott this airline until they stop this dangerous and unnecessary practice.

Southwest Airlines also serves peanut snacks. They will accommodate any request to make a particular flight peanut free, however, there is obviously peanut residue everywhere from previous flights. They also let you pre-board to make sure that you can wipe the trays, seats, etc. around you. But they just won't give up that peanut snack!
