I'm trying to find a thread (with no luck) where someone's child had a reaction and it was a week or two before the child was back to normal.
Do you remember this thread or did your child have a reaction with a long recovery?
Thanks, Adele

Adele -- what level of reaction?

Serious....near fatal.
Adele my son had two serious reactions but not near fatal. Just fast and bad. The second time they gave him so many IV medications in the ER he was sick for days afterward. Mostly GI upset which was attributed to the steroids. His internist put him on an H2 blocker and that calmed it all down but he missed at least a week of school.
Not serious though, not THAT bad.

I don't have time to do a search for probably another day or so, but last January I had a thread about protracted reactions, and that sounds a little familiar. You may try there.

Thanks so much McCobbre. Much appreciated.
