I found these recently in a gourmet food shop in Chicago. It says they are imported from the UK. Has anyone heard of them or tried them safely?

Thanks,
Jaime =)

Yes, they are made by Nestle UK and I have seen them at the "Sugar Mountain" candy shop in Toronto. I have eaten them, as Nestle UK has the same labelling policies as Nestle Canada (they always label 'may contain peanuts' on their chocolate bars if the facility uses peanuts').
So as long as there is no peanut warning on the wrapping, they would be safe if they are manufactured by Nestle UK or Nestle Canada.
For other countries, I would not trust the labelling (ie: Nestle Germany, etc) as they may not use warnings.
