Has anyone had a reaction to Shea butter hand cream since it's from a nut?

This is one of the biggest misconceptions about peanut allergy.
Peanuts are NOT (tree) nuts. Instead, they're legumes.
Anyone with a peanut allergy is not automatically allergic to (tree) nuts.
Peanut allergy and nut allergy are two complete different things, aside from the fact that they can both trigger anafylactic attacks.
Many people who are allergic to peanuts are also allergic to nuts, but certainly not all of them. This is also the reason why people who are suspected to be allergic to peanuts are always tested for (tree) nut allergies too, and vice versa.
If you're allergic to peanuts and not to nuts, shea butter is completely safe.

I guess I made a mistake with the group this discussion was supposed to be for. I meant for it to be for the "other food allergies" group. I am aware that a peanut is not a nut, but given the cross overs and often discussed reactions to the cross overs between peanut allergery and nut allergy I was seeing if anyone has had a reaction to Shea butter. It's not a top contender for reactions. So I was curious.
Thank you though for stating that a purely peanut allergy should for all medical reasons be okay with Shea butter.

That is something that I always read for is any kind of peAnut or tree nut oil in every product I use. I do have a PA child who is also allergic to TN. A lot of exfoliating creams contain nut shells finely ground up. If you are getting manicures and pedicures beware of this if you have an allergy or your loved ones are sensitive being around peanuts and tree nuts.
