Caitlin had her first day of preschool. No problems! (It was only an hr, and the parents were here to meet/greet)

The teacher we have is Sara's teacher from the last 2 years. She knows Caitlin (thru Sara) and vice versa. Caitlin made herself at home in class

We brought our med kit, epi pens, benadrylk and elidel. There are 9 kids in class, 3 with allergies (one environmental, one dairy/chicken and Caitlin)

During the teacher's 10 minute talk, she rambled about snacks (small snacks), juice boxes, no glass, etc... And made a comment about one girl (!) severely alelrgic to peanuts, so please no peanut products. (looking directly at me, so I said 'thank you') so people know it was me (I dont have a problem with that)

Theres a list of her allergens, and right next to it, are the directions on how to use the epi. She had one MFA child last year, so they are well versed, and didnt need the epi last year. She said there is very little food cooking (wait until next year -- ooh boy), and even knew that the play doh is made from wheat (not a problem for us).

We're very confident, and looking forward to a safe first preschool year!
