Living with food allergies can be difficult in more ways than one. From reading labels and choosing foods, to eating out at restaurants or the homes of non food allergic friends. It's no wonder why many choose to cook or bake at home. Thankfully food allergy moms and chefs are taking notice and writing and publishing cookbooks for the food allergy community.

Following is a sample list of the cookbooks available, but you'll find many more if you search on the Internet.

One of the newest books to hit the market is Kelly Rudnicki's “Food Allergy Mama's Baking Book”. The recipes in her book are completely free of nuts, eggs, and dairy. Kelly also offers up some great recipes at her website:

Enjoy Life Foods has also published a cookbook with cookie recipes for those dealing with wheat, peanut, tree nut, dairy, soy and egg allergies. “Cookies for Everyone” is sure to be a hit with kids and adults.

Another egg allergy friendly cookbook is titled “Bakin' Without Eggs” by Rosemary Emro. This book covers cookies, cakes, brownies, pies, breads and more.
