HI my name is Julie Brice Beiersdorf. Our oldest son, Alexander is allergic to PEANUTS and is now receiving TREATMENT hence my blog called Just A Little Peanut at http://justalittlepeanut.blogspot.com/
He is being TREATED in Dallas for his Peanut allergy! As of Feb 10,2011 he safely EATS 6 PEANUTS a day as part of his treatment. This revolutionary treatment is peanut oral desensitization. (Wheat, Egg and Milk allergies are also treated). Only a few places in this country offer treatment as opposed to just a clinical trial.
My sole intent with the 'Just A Little Peanut" blog is to help others with life-threatening food allergies by sharing our journey in this attempt to "de-sensitize our son to his peanut allergy. Also provided are links to relevant news, websites and over time I will post other peoples stories.
I love my precious family. My husband Russell and I live in Dallas with our 2 boys Alexander and Dylan. Life with boys is fun and the "teenage phase" is unique to say the least. We seek to serve God in all we do though we fall short most of the time.
I have no medical background. You should consult a doctor and not rely on the content in this blog which is offered for informational and educational purposes. In no way is anything in this blog intended to be a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. I hope my blog is helpful to you. This is "steppin' out" for me.
