These chips are so delicious that they won't even last 5 minutes!
This Recipe Is:
- 2 green plantains
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- Sea salt
- Peel the plantains. If needed, using a knife to peel the plantains. Slice the plantains into 1/8 inch thick circles.
- Over medium heat in a thick pan, melt the coconut oil. Place the plantain pieces in the hot oil in a single layer. Cook for about 2 minutes or until it becomes brown on the bottom. Using a tong, flip the plantains and let it cook on the other side for a couple minutes or until it becomes golden brown.
- Remove the plantains from the oil onto a place lined with paper towels. Sprinkle with some salt and serve.
