It's hard to say how long
It's hard to say how long peanut protein can survive on objects. Peanut oil is very sticky and it depends on how much peanut butter was on your hands and the objects you touched.
The best thing to do would be to wipe down your computer keyboard with a wipe or damp cloth.
For most individuals to have a reaction - there would have to be peanut protein on the item that is touched and then they would have to put their hands in their mouth or touch their eyes or nose.
Most people will not develop a severe reaction from touching peanut protein to skin.
I hope that helps.

If you are concerned then as the previous poster suggested wipe the surfaces down. But generally I don't have issues with contact. I have asthma attacks from the smell, but peanut allergy sufferers reacting from contact is actually quite rare. The one little girl I heard about who does have such problems acquired a peanut dog as a result.

I would wipe down the surface. My daughter has severe pa and just touching it on her skin is instant hives, bloodshot eyes and coughing from asthma. Everyone's allergies range in severity.
My daughter also has severe
My daughter also has severe reaction fron touch..Swollen eye and all..Thats how we foudn out she had the allergy, when we introduced PB< and she never ate any!
I am very allergic to peanuts
I am very allergic to peanuts and have had an allergic reaction from touching a door handle after someone eating peanut butter touched it. It is always better to wash down the surface, no matter how long its been. Do not use water to clean any surfaces with peanuts or peanut butter. Water has no ammonia or cleaning agents that help rid the surface of the protein. I carry hand sanitizer wipes or pocket sized rubbing alcohol wipes. Those are most efficient at cleaning contaminated surfaces.
