Has anyone been to a FAAN convention? We are thinking of taking our 14 year old, but I would like feed back if you have been to one. Is it worth it (alittle expensive to go), do you learn alot, did the kids (if any went) love it or could do with out it?

I had posted on this a few

I had posted on this a few months back...I only got one response and it was positive. I believe the response indicated the educational components were great, the sharing of experiences, etc a little less helpful. We have small children and they won't be attending, so I can't speak to that part of your question. We are only 2 hours away from one of the sites, so I figured we almost have to go :)

Thank you, I just booked

Thank you, I just booked everything for us to go in May. It is about 7 hrs away from us, so we are using it as a weekend getaway also. Our 14 is excited to meet other teens that have allergies, so even if some of it isn't helpful for us I think the teen breakout lunch will be a blast for him. So far there are only 6 teens registered to go. They get to eat in a seperate room and have a good bit of time to talk. I will let you know what we think.
