My son's first reaction was a

My son's first reaction was a skin reaction where his legs got really chaffed, raw and swollen from peanut oil in the air. The next reaction was full body hives. After this we had him tested and confirmed it was the peanuts
My son's doctor explained that now that the body recognizes the peanut as a foreign substance, the reactions are likely to be more severe each subsequent exposure.
I would remain super vigilant to stay away from all peanuts, peanut oil, peanut flour or anything that has touched these. All it takes is reading a couple of sad stories where children have suffocated to death from an allergic reaction to make it hit home.
