I keep seeing that Sunbutter add, anyone try it? Taste anything like peanut butter? I'm really craving a peanut butter and jelly sandwich! I've been eating almond butter instead but recently found an allergy to it as well!

I've used it to make "peanut

I've used it to make "peanut butter" cookies. It was good, a little more salty, but good. We use to eat peanut butter by the spoon, it wasn't that good by itself, but in something it was good. I know my grocery store sells sunflower butter, not the sunbutter brand, but it's something you can look for and try to see if you like it. Good luck with your pbj! :)

My son has had a serious

My son has had a serious peanut allergy for 23 years, so we've been using Sunbutter since we discovered it a couple of years ago. I like it better than peanut butter. I enjoy it at least once a day, often more.

I didn't like it. It tasted

I didn't like it. It tasted too much like peanut butter for me and I had a reaction to it. I use soy butter, nutella or almond butter made by Blue Diamond. I have seen pea butter but don't know what the heck it is.

I have tried both the soy

I have tried both the soy butter and the sunbutter Personally I prefer the soy butter BUT my who is the PA allergic one seems to prefer the sunbutter . I like sunflower seeds and I think that you can taste the flavoe of the sunflower in sunbutter and I think that soy butter taste more like actual pb. But it all comes down to personal taste. Those are only choices since he is allergic to tree nuts also.
Best of luck.

I do like it...Better when

I do like it...Better when kept in fridge, otherwise it is runny...Its not as good as PB but it does the trick...My hubby doesnt like it though, he says it tastes to much liek sunflower seeds, LOL..Obviously.

I agree. Any of the PB

I agree. Any of the PB alternatives except Nutella which says not to refrigerate it are best kept in the fridge.

all 3 of my kids love it, we

all 3 of my kids love it, we have a peanut free elementary school and the school has that on the unlimited salad bar.
