Milwaukee Brewers Peanut-Free Tickets Go On Sale March 1st

This season, the Milwaukee Brewers are offering fans with peanut allergies a chance to enjoy major league baseball without fear of an allergic reaction. Do you love baseball but are worried about all of the peanut-based snacks at a ballpark? This season, sit in the 'peanut-controlled' area at Miller Park, suggests Fox 6 Now.

Last month, the Brewers announced the peanut-controlled area of seats, which will be offered during three home games in the coming season. Fans with peanut allergies can enjoy the peanut-controlled seats during the May 7th game against the Reds, July 26th against the Nationals, or September 14th against the Mets. The peanut-controlled seating is in the Club Outfield, sections 306 and 307.

Tickets for this seating section go on sale Thursday, March 1st at 9:00am. Visit Brewers.com/peanutcontrolled to purchase a ticket. Each ticket is $38 plus applicable service fees. Space is limited to 100 fans per game, and there is a limit of 6 tickets per purchase. The tickets can be picket up at Will Call after each fan signs a waiver stating that they will not bring peanut products into the section.

It is expected that more teams will offer similar peanut-free seating options in the coming seasons, as the number of fans with peanut allergies continues to rise.
