Danger: Mislabeled Granola Bar Recall

Have you recently bought General Mills' Almond Nature Valley Sweet & Salty Nut Granola Bars? General Mills is voluntarily recalling a single day's production of these bars as the result of a labeling issue.

The bars may have been packaged incorrectly on this day and may contain allergens not listed on the ingredient label, including peanuts.

On this day, a number of Peanut Nature Valley Sweet & Salty Nut Granola Bars were incorrectly inserted into boxes labeled "Almond Nature Valley Sweet & Salty Nut Granola Bar."

The Peanut Nature Valley bars are properly labeled as such, and they are individually wrapped.

The recall is in effect for 6-count boxes of Almond Nature Valley Sweet & Salty Nut Granola Bars with the Better if Used By date: 26FEB2013.

If your box of granola bars has that date on top, call General Mills Consumer Service at 1-800-231-0308 for a full refund.
