The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) gathered in New Orleans from July 11-14 to learn about innovative new food and beverage products launched around the world. Mintel, the global leader in market and consumer intelligence, asked visitors to vote on ingredient trends. SunButter took third place as an example of the seed ingredient trend.
Not only is SunButter on the cutting edge of peanut-free foods, it's also a taste trendsetter!
Sunbutter can be purchased online through their website: Sunbutter online store

SunButter has a company wide commitment to being peanut free, taking steps above and beyond traditional manufacturers. SunButter has complete control of their sunflower seed supply chain, as they only harvest a unique variety of sunflower seeds for their product -- in fact, due to climate, peanuts can't even be grown where SunButter sources their sunflower, the main ingredient. As a further indication of their commitment, all peanuts and peanut containing foods and snacks have been banned at the SunButter corporate office level as well as all warehouses.
