NOW Foods offers allergen-free foods
NOW Foods has announced a Living Now line of allergy-friendly foods that are both allergen-free and GMO-free.
The line is focused on grains and flours, including organic amaranth and organic brown rice flour, which are certified gluten-free, kosher, organic and non-GMO.
Making a difference
More than 15 million Americans have food allergies and are often looking for substitutes for their favorite foods. Living Now foods are free of all eight major food allergens, and the line of options is growing.
"As a company dedicated to providing comprehensive wellness solutions and as someone who has begun the journey of a gluten-free lifestyle, I am very proud to offer our allergy-conscious customers a way to make eating gluten-free a simple, great-tasting and affordable way of life," said NOW Foods President Jim Emme.
"Our insistence on adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for both the natural products industry and the federal Food and Drug Administration provides our customers with an extra level of confidence other manufacturers simply can't match," Emme continued. "I truly believe Living Now will make a difference in the lives of many people who share my food sensitivities."
The company plans to introduce new baking mixes for favorites like Banana Chocolate Chip Bread and Chocolate Chip Cookies.
