Commercial rice milk is often very high in sugar. Making it yourself is cheaper and you can adjust the sweetener to taste.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups hot/warm water
  • 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Gluten-free brown rice syrup to taste

Directions

  • Place all ingredients in a blender until smooth
  • Strain twice to be sure to get out any little rice pieces
  • Makes 4 cups
