Peanut-Free/Nut-Free Directory
Our directory is intended as a resource for people with peanut and nut allergies. It contains foods, helpful products, and much more.
The SoyNut Butter Company was founded by three food ingredient entrepreneurs.
In response to the flood of positive soy-related health information released in the mid 90's, these trailblazers created a tasty nut-free food to substitute for peanut butter. Their original product, SoyNut Butter, is safe for the peanut/nut allergic individual and tastes good enough to be accepted as peanut butter by everyone.
It has definitely been accepted: I.M. Healthy SoyNut Butter is now available in supermarkets nationwide, as well as 1,400 specialty food stores. They were also the original private label producer for Trader Joe's Soynut Butter. They also have a food service operation that supplies camps, schools and day care centers, helping these institutions to resolve the peanut allergy issue with a nutritious alternative.
Unlike many food products which may be susceptible to cross contamination, I.M. Healthy SoyNut Butter does not contain peanuts, tree nuts of any type, sesame, dairy, egg, wheat (gluten), or shellfish. Their products are manufactured in a facility that is free of those ingredients. In addition to the original butter, I.M. Healthy also offers Roasted Sweet Corn and Corn Flake Crumbs, a gluten-free alternative to bread crumbs.
