I was just making out checks for donations to a couple of children's cancer research organizations, and I was wondering if there's a reputable organization doing fundraising to finance research into a cure for peanut allergy. Does anyone have any ideas? I keep reading that Mount Sinai hosts research in this field. How are they funded?
Do any of you have a favorite peanut allergy related charity you can recommend?
Thanks,
Debbie
Has anyone heard of the Parents Allergy Initiative? Apparently, this provides some funding to the Mt. Sinai research. Any info would be appreciated as I would like to donate $$ too.
Just a thought...
You could donate the money to Peanutallergy.com - This site (thanks to Chris) has been more all around helpful to us than I can list. It is thanks to Chris that we have support and vital information from folks like the ones on this board from all around the world.

Check out the thread on the Research Topic entitled "Xolair Did Not Win Approval". Tracey contacted Tanox and asked the very same question. The answer was they don't need money, they need volunteers - makes me feel very helpless.
