I have multiple epi-pens, Daily Loratidine (claritin) (double dose yes, Hayfever that bad) and sometimes eye-drops
Do you take any to avoid contact rxns? I think the claritin covers any mild ones i might have.

DS was on Extendryl for daily maintenance (1 chewable tablet 3-4x/day). It just hasn't seemed as effective lately, so we tried Singulair for allergies, and it has an asthma benefit, too. It didn't work, so DS' allergist gave him a sample of Palgic to try. It's kind of old school--and works a lot like Benadryl. It's taken once a day, at night before bed--and it's in liquid form. The only side effect is drowsiness. No problem. The liquid form isn't as handly as the tablet (which I could easily carry with me in my purse), but the fact that it's only once a day is great. As it turns out, the medicine really works for DS, so we got a script for it. We kept the little sample bottles to use for traveling. Actually, DS keeps one of those in his bathroom with a dropper, and he can just take the medicine on his own before brushing teeth at night.
If we forget to take it, he does have to go back to Extendryl 3-4x/day the next day.
For prophylactic use, we use Benadryl (before getting on a SW airplane, for example). And DH and I carry the Triaminic Cough and Cold melty strips that are actually only a children's dose of diphenhidramine (Benadryl).
I carry a small vial of Benadryl with me in my purse (bought a small Nalgene container from The Container Store--completely leak proof).
And we carry Epipens, of course, just in case.
