I have a first-grader in a Fresno area public school who has peanut, egg, milk, and tree nut allergies. Over the past five years, I have learned a lot, most importantly how parents must advocate for their children because of the lack of knowledge on the part of the general public. I am presently concerned with safety at school. I recommend the Kids With Food Allergies Foundation for information at kidswithfoodallergies.org.
