walk a thon

I would like to host a walk a thon for Food Allergies to raise money for the network, I would like to sponsor this for October 2008 in my home town of Cranford, NJ, does anyone have experience doing this?

Anne Marie, I suggest posting this under the Main Discussion Board. I just happened to click on this board, but it doesn't get a lot of traffic. My aunt lives in Cranford; it's such a pretty town.
