Update to \"unhappy with doctor\"

Thanks to all who have replied and shared your thoughts with me. It turns out I don't need a referral for my insurance company, so I made an appointment for my daughter to see an allergist next wednesday (feb 4). I am relieved that we can go and talk to an allergist without needing my pediatrician's referral. I'll let you know after wednesday how everything goes.
Thanks again for the advice. I think this site will prove to be very helpful to us as we learn to deal with Grace's PA. We may even sometime in the near future have our son tested to see what could be causing his excema.
