Can you repost or fix the link? I cannot get it to work :-(
At the moment I am avoiding all food that has the may contain label or made in the same plant label. I initially was not, but this changed very quickly after using a chapstick with almond oil in it. This was a tube of chapstick that I never really cared for, because it always seemed to make my lips worse. After being diagnosed, I put it on and within a minute my lips were burning, itching and around my lips was starting to go red. Almond Oil was the 8th ingredient on the list. I figure If I am reacting to that small of an amount, then I could have big problems with cross contamination.
After this experience, I rethought many things. I am anaphylatic to TN, and was told to avoid PN because of cross contamination. When my doctor told me to avoid PN, I initially questioned him, and when I pressed the issue, he told me to be very careful and to only eat small quantities. After the chapstick incident, I realized how sensitive I am, and decided no more peanuts. This also got me to say no more may contain traces of, at least until I could learn more. However, on the plus side, this is quickly breaking my junk food addiction, as well as walking into the faculty room and grabbing a snack of whatever has been put out.
