Example of Frequently asked question:

I posted something that concerns me now. Is there any way you can edit my comments or direct me how to? I was in a particularly foul mood regarding relatives and their behavior as a result of my childrens' peanut allergy. I posted some nasty things that I would like to have taken off the site. I may one day want to direct my "challenged" (is that better? ha ha) family members to PeanutAllergy.Com for education and I don't think they would be happy with my comments which were made before I had the chance to temper my words. Help if you can....thanks...(poster)

The editing option has been enabled but there is a time limit. This limit may be changed at any time and as is warranted. If there is a post that you would like us to assist you with after you are no longer able to edit the post yourself let us know.

Q)can I remove my City from my profile

Yes, when you are on the discussion boards, click on "My stuff" then "My profile". You should be able to figure it out from there. You can check out the faq (frequently asked questions) if you want more info on how to use the boards and the features.

If you don't want your main email address available to the general public through the discussion boards, you could use an alternate email address (such as signing up for a free email address such as hotmail and then using that address in your profile so others can contact you.

The problem with not using an email address you check frequently is that you may forget to check that email.

Q)
Hi,
I want to change my user name. How can I do that?
Thanks for your assistance with this.
A)You can't change your username unless we delete your old registration file. Would you like us to do that and then you can go and register again with the new name you would like?

Just let us know by email and we will let you know by email when we have deleted it for you, then you can click on register and pick a new username. If you have any problems let us know.

Chris, specifically with regard to what you're speaking about right now - UserNames.
I have quite a few on this board for different reasons - usually because my main one and then my other main one blipped out.

Do I just write to you and tell you which UserNames you can delete that I know are mine.

Does it make any difference to you running the website if I have say 5 UserNames that are still use-able rather than 2? Or, is it more work for you to actually remove the UserNames that I am not using?

Many thanks and best wishes!

How do you edit the name of a topic you started? I just did a typo and can't figure out how to fix it.
