Food Allergy and Travel Research

Hi everyone,

My name is Vera Hood. I have been allergic to tree nuts and peanuts my whole life. Having an allergy severely impacts my ability to travel with ease. My experiences have led me to consider starting a travel agency to cater towards travelers with food allergies. I am conducting research to see if there is a market for this service. If you are interested in participating in the survey, I have provided the link below. Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,
Vera Hood

There's nothing to worry of being allergy of peanuts then you just not eat. I am a member of food allergy that I won't eat sea foods.

Actually, there is something to worry about. There are a lot of PA people that could have an airborne reaction too.

I think this would be a good idea. So many travel agents are unaware/uneducated about allergies. I have a 17 year old PA son. Though we are Canadian, he was born in Hong Kong and has lived in Turkey, Abu Dhabi, and now we are living in Malaysia (nut heaven). It's hard, but not impossible to travel places safely, globally. But domestically, it's a challenge too and having a travel agent would be good. You wouldn't probably have enough business if you limited your scope to only allergy families, but advertising that you understand it because you have it would go a long way to having repeat clients. I wish you the best of luck in your business if you choose to do it! I think it's a great idea!!
