I will be visiting my cousin in Connecticut this week and will have access to a Trader Joe's.
Are there any special things that you all buy at Trader Joe's that you trust their labeling for - as far as PA/TNA goes?
We can get Sunbutter at our local supermarket, so I don't need that.
Any type of sweets or cereals?
Thanks,
LJ
We buy many things at Trader Joe's, but one sweet thing that stands out for us and our kids is some dark chocolate bars, called "Unique origin" chocolates "Guaranda" and "Ocumare" (I think these are regions where the chocolate comes from)--they are labelled "nuts free." Sometimes these are by the checkout lanes, sometimes above the frozen food. All of their cookies are now "may contain" so we don't get them.
How much is sunbutter there? We pay $4.39/jar. I think I remember it being $3.99 there.
be careful there! We used to buy their mini oatmeal cookies or the cat cookies... all the cookies I looked at were "may contain" The boys were bummed!
