I just spoke with the company and they claim that they did not say the toothpaste contained peanut oil but that they could not say it did not because they did not know what was in it. They claim now they are sure and will be issuing a statement that there is no peanut oil. It seems to be lousy pr

They said they couldn't say it didn't contain peanut oil or traces thereof because they don't know what's in it? Will they say if they don't know that it doesn't contain traces of ground up recycled tires? Come on! It's your product, you should know what's in it.

This is what I said they would say, kwim?

They dont know WHAT is in it (from 3rd parties) therefore, it COULD contain peanut oil (they just don't know), but as for tires...

We'll wait for FAAN's response.

Here's the link to make it easier...

How pathetic...initially they should have just said 'We don't know so you probably shouldn't use our product if that concerns you.' OR 'We'll check into it for you.' instead of telling people it might have peanut oil.

They still can't get their 'story' straight. I just got 2 emails from them...the first was essentially the FAAN message. The 2nd told me I should discontinue using the product since I believe it may have exposed my son to peanuts. I expect a pharmaceutical company to have their act a little more 'together' than this.
