Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with recipe question. My daughter is allergic to peanut/treenut, egg, wheat, dairy, among other less common things. I found a recipe for homemade marshmallows. Has anyone made them? If so, have you used them to melt on sweet potatoes? Do they melt the same? I would be glad to share the recipe. Thanks.

Sorry this is coming after Thanksgiving. Hope you found a recipe or a work-around. If not, you might want to look under the "Manufacturers (Food) Safe & Unsafe". I posted a thread about "Marshmallow Creme". One of the responses was a recipe for marshmallows. Maybe her recipe would work for you.
Also, the marshmallow cremes that are mentioned in that post have websites with recipes. You might want to take a look at those websites, too. In fact, I think Fluff has a recipe for sweet potato.
Hope this helped and again, sorry I couldn't respond to you before Thanksgiving. Warmly, Julie B.
