Taking the offensive with airlines

My family has been kicked off one flight (America West) and had to cancel another (Alaska) because of their policies regarding peanuts and our son's allergy.

Rather than settle for refunds, I would like to put the airlines on notice that they are headed for a multimillion dollar wrongful death lawsuit and that it is in their financial best interests to do what is ethically and morally correct, to stop serving peanuts.

I propose two steps:

First, in addition to sending our complaint letters to the airlines themselves, the Aviation Consumer Protection Division, peanutallergy.com & the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (11781 Lee Jackson Hwy., Suite 160, Fairfax, VA 22033-3309), it would be great to archive them and make them permanently accessible to subscribers. The letter writers could of course edit out any personal information they don
