Answers to your questions:
1. 3.5 years/male
4 very important
7 Back Pack and one in a safe location
8 Irrelevant if it saves his life, though obviously the cheaper the better because they are bloody expensive now at $50 US a piece.
9. The current auto injector is intimidating looking (even for parents). However if a child grows up looking at it, then it just becomes part of who they are. I don't think many kids will be laden with the responsibility of injecting themselves until they are at least 8 or 9 years old at least. I would wonder if the current size is a bit too big for smaller hands?
Good luck with your research. As a mom with a child who can die from an everyday item, I am happy to help with any kind of research in this area.
