Some of you may recall that I have been active in getting my children's local soccer club to address food allergic children participants.
1 1/2 years ago the club developed a food allergy policy. It's here at: [url="http://www.marssoccer.org/foodallergy.html"]http://www.marssoccer.org/foodallergy.html[/url]
As a follow-up, this spring, the local baseball association asked me if I would mind if they swiped the policy for their club. Of course I said no, swipa all you want.
This fall the soccer club decided to eliminate all snacks during the game.
I consider this a major success.
If anyone needs help just ask.

In my area, we've never really had any problems with soccer. But food with Little League is a big problem! Thankfully we've always had good coaches up to this point, but one of these days I'm bound to butt heads for enforcement of the policies in the local Little League handbook that is handed out every year about "No Eating" during games.
